This is the fossilized tooth of a Megaladon - a now extinct species of shark that grew to 20 metres in Length!!!

Megaladon was the apex predator of the world’s oceans from 2.6 to 23 million years ago.

Fossil teeth like these are hunted by divers, who crawl along the bottom of the sea in zero visibility conditions. They feel their way with their hands along the muddy seabed!
